Overview:

This conversation will address the unique and seldom discussed perspective of being a minority in general, and a Black person in particular, in the Fire Service.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the history of segregation in the fire service
  • Describe the impact of being a minority or Black person in the fire servic
  • Identify the ways we can all serve as anti-racists in the fire service
