Culturally Competent Clinicians for the Fire Service

Partnering for Training across the United States and Abroad

FSPA is committed to training clinicians to become culturally competent to the needs of the fire service. We are in the process of securing a grant and need to connect with partnering agencies across the United States and abroad.

The partners would allow us to:

  • Utilize a training room to deliver the FSPA’s “Understanding Fire Service Culture Class.”
  • Contribute to presentations from a fire service perspective
  • Expose the clinicians to fire equipment and the operational considerations as outlined by the FSPA curriculum but specific to the unique dynamics of your department.
  • Coordinate ride-a-longs and assign a corresponding training officer to sign off on the “FSPA Task Book”

Will you help us?
